TX2 Has Released A New EP: 'Cruel World'

 

TX2 is one of those bands that has been incredibly polarizing in the metal scene, but through and through I've found them to be consistently enjoyable. Even regarding this EP it's acknowledged that they're not very well received by the mass populace of metalheads online. 

“10 years ago I started TX2, and when the project first started I was the joke of my hometown. I was bullied by my entire hometown, and told by family that I would never make it. Years later I am still the joke, but now a punching bag for the entire internet. I’ve practiced what I’ve preached and consistently talked about mental health awareness, safety, and LGBT rights just to be made fun of and seen as ‘one of the most hated artists’. This world is filled with vultures, and I’m sure everyone can relate. I’ve never cared to be cool or loved, and this goes out to the real outcasts of the world. This world is Cruel - and this EP is for anyone who feels the odds stacked against them.” -TX2

 Whether it be music online, music videos, social media presence, or even their live shows. I consider this to be a really solid band for people that are looking for some old emo feelings or that 2012 angst. 

Either way, they released a new EP called 'Cruel World' on Oct. 30th (uh oh, I'm late to the news party).
