30 Days of Features- Dead Cassette

 

I talk a lot of shit about Ohio, and a lot of it is warranted. But here's one of the few things I'll put in the 'Good' pile. And that was because I didn't know they were an Ohio-based band when I started listening.

I'm actually kidding about the savage discrimination of Ohio-based metalcore. Kinda.

Hailing from northeast Ohio, Dead Cassette is a powerhouse metalcore band composed of lead vocalist Justin Karallus, rhythm guitarist and vocalist Corbin Wandling, lead guitarist Arthur Lawrence, bassist Joe Hoover, and drummer Sam Lisko.

The band has made waves with their debut full-length album, "Revive," featuring hit singles like "Revive," "Through Hell," and "Neverending." Building on this success, Dead Cassette dropped a new single, "After All," on December 30th, 2022, followed by another explosive release titled "Burn The Lights Out" on May 26th, 2023.

Today's song is titled "If Love Was Lost" and was released last month (November 2023). It's a moody Hard Rock/Metalcore track, marking the introduction of Sam Lisko the drummer. So, here is the next chapter of Dead Cassette produced, mixed, mastered, and co-written by Danny Cullman.
