Have You Heard The Song 'damn!'? If You're On TikTok You Have.

So, if you are one of the few that have been sucked into the cesspool that is TikTok, you have more than likely heard the song 'damn!' by Jeris Johnson. It's been trending on Tiktok for a while now, and it was actually the top trending song on my dashboard for the genre of Metal & Hard Rock even though it was branded Commercial, Grunge, Cloud Hop / Emo Hip-Hop. Not that I'm bashing, that's why it gets its own posts. Personally, I don't think I would've come across this song if I wasn't on TikTok, and it's been a common thing that I've been discussing with the artists in my inner circles is the power that a viral TikTok sound can do for an artist. 

"For Jeris Johnson, music is quite literally in his blood. Jeris’ parents are both musical, his dad a drummer and his mom a singer, who met while playing in bands. Jeris grew up surrounded by music, and his parents' unwavering support of his musical aspirations bred a lasting love and passion for music. At a mere 21 years old, Jeris began traveling back and forth to LA to perfect his sound. In 2020, Jeris released his single, “Sticks and Stones”, followed by his most recent single “Damn!”, which has already accumulated 5,500,000 streams on Spotify is nearing 1.5M views on YouTube.
