Hey Star Wars Fans, The Hu Just Did A Song For Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order

That's right, you read the title correctly. I didn't know about this until now and I am so glad I found out, while the song was released in February of this year, it doesn't make it any less awesome.  The song was made for the Star Wars video game called Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. The song was added into the game for when the game's protagonist Cal Kesitis listens to the song performed by the band in-game.

Gala, the Vocalist of The Hu did an interview where he spoke on the experience of doing the song for EA for the video game.

"Our music bridges the gap between the past and the present, between the west and the east. It's about bringing the timeline together, where old meets new, just like in Star Wars. The special Star Wars galaxy and the uniqueness of our music have converged."

The song for Jedi Fallen Order is called Sugaan Essena, and it is actually written in a fake language that the band felt matched with the Star Wars universe, rather than their norm of writing songs in Mongolian.

EA Star Wars briefly discusses the song in the description of the YouTube video, saying:

"Cal’s journey begins with him listening to Sugaan Essena, an original song from Mongolian band The Hu. That’s not Mongolian you’re hearing though, it’s a language created with the band that’s unique to Star Wars. It’s Cal’s favorite song for ship scrapping or galactic gladiator fights, but why should he have all the fun? We recorded a special session with the band so everyone can get pumped up and feel like a Jedi. "

And low and behold, here is the music video of the song in question.
