30 Days of Features- Unholy Desecration, Black Death Metal Straight off the Texas/Mexico Border.

Emerging from the abysmal depths of the Texas/Mexico border comes forth UNHOLY DESECRATION. Unholy Desecration was formed in the fall of 2017 by founding members Roberto Canales (Guitarist), Arnold Garza(Drummer) & Josh Villa (Bass). They then added Jaime Maravillas (former Descry, Altercate, Eternal Crown Vocalist) on Vocals and almost a complete unit but lacking a second guitarist, they finally added Drew Erebus(Guitar)-(former Eternal Crown, Belligerency) to round off this Unholy quintet. With the complete lineup, they began months of intense rehearsal perfecting their sound in Rob's Red Barn Recording Studio in Mission Texas.

UNHOLY DESECRATION unleashed their resonant form of Blackened Death Metal upon the unsuspecting masses with an onslaught of brutal live performances in the thriving Texas Border Metal scene and booking future dates with bands such as #Mexico's death metal legends #Mortuary & #Morbosidad. They have shared the stage with bands including Severance and Confused Records label-mates Pantheon, Confused, X.I.L and Overt Enemy just to name a few. On September 2018 Unholy Desecration's EP "Born of Evil" was released by Confused Records worldwide across all digital music platforms. Now UNHOLY DESECRATION looks forward to what lies ahead for them.....

Where is your band based out of? How many people are apart of the project and when were you formed? 
"Unholy Desecration"
We are a Black Death Metal quintet based out of Mission Texas. It is the Deepest Regions of South Texas, we formed in the fall of 2017.

Do you have any new releases/albums/music? What is it called, and how would you describe it?
We have our full-length album titled "Unholy Horde" to be released January-February of 2020
It is a blasphemous opus of blackened Death Metal.

How would you explain what your music sounds like, and what would you compare it to sounding like so people could get a better idea of how your music sounds?
It is Blackened Death Metal, a perfect blend of 90's death metal with Norwegian black metal, we have been compared to bands like Dissection, Belphegor, and Behemoth.

Are there any goals you have reached for the end of the year that you created at the beginning? And do you have any goals for next year, 2020?
Yes we had set out to record a full-length album which we just completed in November, which should be released by January or February of 2020.

We would just like to say Thank You to everyone who has supported us the past 2 years, we would like to welcome any new followers and supporters in the near future, and everyone keep it Brutal and keep it metal!
