30 Days of Features- Lyrizone, a blend of Alt Rock and Modern Hip-Hop from Vancouver, Washington

Joseph Moreno, better known to the underground as "Lyrizone", was born and raised in Summerville, South Carolina. He first came on to the scene as an emcee who performed for a "Grind Mode Cypher" in Hilton Head, South Carolina late 2015. Following this, he was noticed in the underground being a former member of the hip-hop group "Project Leviathan." Here, he released numerous tracks that showcased his versatile wordplay and cadence, which lead to the release of a classic track called “Murderous Habits”, though unfortunately, its momentum lost flare as the team members decided it was best to pursue their solo careers.

After PL disbanded, Lyrizone retracted most to all of his past catalog to start anew and began focusing on displaying his own brand & style. Coming upon late 2017, Lyrizone began to be seen making guest feature appearances on albums of his peers and marks the debut of his distinct "LZ" mask. During this time, he begins to hone in on his lyrical prowess as he then begins releasing songs with a metal-based influence.

Late 2018, Lyrizone releases his first track of the rebranding, "The Intrusion" that showcased his microphone presence. Lyrizone then started releasing singles to build toward the release of his debut album titled "Sweet Relief." On March 10th, 2019, Lyrizone was officially recruited by Brutal Business Ent. Owner, Garrett Jageman and joined his label. Lyrizone currently resides in Vancouver, Washington. Lyrizone's Sweet Relief EP releases live to the public on October 31st, 2019.

Where is your band based out of? How many people are apart of the project and when were you formed?

I am a solo artist based out of Vancouver, Washington who entered the underground hip-hop scene late 2015 who goes by the stage name Lyrizone(pronounced Leer-E-Zone).

Do you have any new releases/albums/music? What is it called, and how would you describe it?

I currently have released my debut EP that was titled "Sweet Relief." I released this album on Halloween Night(10/31/2019), to celebrate the theme and genre of my music. That being said, if I had to describe the sound of the album, in general, I would state it's the product of Numetal and horrorcore hip-hop. Within it, you will hear many influences that should entertain both the casual listeners and the fans of detail-oriented songwriting.

How would you explain what your music sounds like, and what would you compare it to sounding like so people could get a better idea of how your music sounds?

Hmmmm, Good question. I've honestly heard a good bit of feedback as some comparing it to a blend of alternative rock blended into modern hip hop. Although I wouldn't really say I'm in the direction of a darker Hollywood Undead sound, I would claim most of my influences production wise come from Linkin Park and Tech N9ne. Hence I always try to pay homage to the greats that came before me but at the same time tries to inspire within my own songwriting and structure. Hence this is why I am so lucky to have an engineer that has the same mindset as I do most of the time when creating a track from start to finish!

Do you have anything you would like to tell the public?

I would like to tell everyone that my exclusive engineer, Joshua Holland of Green Light Studios and I are extremely appreciative of all the support we have received over the years while creating this album and as we further build our brands. As through this, we will continue to give you the purest artistry we can and promise to strive for excellence in all forms of our craft. You will see Lyrizone frequently on the YouTube Channel "TooLitMafia" for song reactions throughout next year as well as a music video from off the latest album! Simply put, I am looking forward to growing with my fan base as I evolve and advance through time.

Are there any goals you have reached for the end of the year that you created at the beginning? And do you have any goals for next year, 2020?

Yes actually, I planned on releasing my first project as well as being picked up by an independent label, so I can say I ended this year accomplishing my main goals! Haha. Brutal Business Entertainment. all day! As far as goals for next year, I would like to release a music video from a song off my debut EP. Most likely sometime after this, I will collaborate with some independent artists that have been on my bucket list as far as features!
