Sorry Guys, Those Free Motley Crue Tickets Aren't Happening, It Was A 'Joke'.

A new interview out with Mick Mars from Motley Crue does confirm what a lot of people were hoping wouldn't happen. But we all knew it was going to happen. In an interview on That Metal Show Mars made the promise to invite the world for free to the show.

With everyone thinking that this would be the 'final tour' because of the contract that Motley Crue signed basically sealing the fate for the band, the statement was brushed off because, well they weren't touring anymore, and they never would. So it didn't matter.

But with the announcement of the new tour after they blew up their contract on social media, literally. Announcing their stadium tour to bewith Def Leppard and Poison, people dug up the video clip and began to hype up the idea that- hey, everyone worldwide is going to come to someone monstrosity sized show because it's free, so why not come?

One of the main reasons for the announcement for their tour was the resurgence of popularity for Motley Crue after the Netlfix Movie The Dirt was released, and suddenly a new generation of Crue fans began demanding that they go back on tour again via Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and most importantly: Letters carried by Pigeon.

But Mars published this statement on Instagram roughly 4 hours ago:

"While I was clearly joking about the free tickets that night on TMS, I was also deeply convinced that we would never ever be touring again," Marrs wrote, "I would never have expected to be facing a whole new generation of fans demanding to see us play."

So, sorry to break the news to you all. But those free tickets that you guys were getting all hyped up about isn't going to happen. So, if you really want to see Motley Crue perform and not just watch the meme videos of the aftermath, better start saving up now.
